A good quality early Victorian wellington chest constructed from beautifully figured rosewood, the rectangular shaped top above the cross banded frieze. The 7 graduated and oak lined drawers with dove tail joints and ebonised turned pulls..The side locking bar which locks all drawers is working and has 2 keys and the whole stands on an off set plinth base.
