Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Regency era.
1830. It has a beautifully figured top above a central drawer, flanked by 2 deep drawers, all oak lined and with decorative brass handles. This fine antique sideboard stands on tapering legs with spade feet and has unusual decorative box wood inlay around the edges. It has aged to a rich mellow mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
