Antique 1901 Waltham Traveler Pocket Watch.

Description

Antique 1901 Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed American, Waltham, U.S.A. Traveler and it has the serial number 10263975 which dates it back to 1901. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks from use but overall is in nice condition for a 1901 piece.

The glass lens has light surface marking from use although very acceptable.

The signed white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack to the outer edge at 11 o,clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
