Full of beautiful country house charm and character and dating from around 1780, this delightful chest has a beautifully figured moulded top above two over three graduating cock beaded drawers with brass swan neck handles. This splendid chest stands on shaped bracket feet and the mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
