Great Western Railway (Gwr) Station Masters or Guards Pocket Watch by Record, No 0.1397, Pre 1948

Description

For sale this good Great Western Railway (GWR) Station Masters or Guards pocket watch by Record, no 0.1397, pre-1948. This heavy full nickel cased pocket watch is in original condition including its original glass that shows use as a working tool watch. Fully signed undamaged dial and original deep blued hand set. The signed Record movement is in full working order holding time. This large pocket watch has a diameter of 58mm excluding the stem and crown. The watch is sold with a very fine copy of 60years of Western Express Running by O S Nock revised edition dated 1973. This excellent book is packed with some colour and multi black and white plates and is in very good condition.   A great set.
