C18th Walnut Georgian Chest of Drawers

A very good quality country c18th walnut Georgian chest of drawers, two short over three long drawers, circa 1760.

Lovely proportions to this chest and also, the most fantastic pale aged walnut, very decorative and something to be looked at and enjoyed, but very much a useable chest of drawers for storage too.

The condition is good, solid and all drawers running well. There are of course, marks from age, but nothing you wouldn't expect.

This is a full walnut chest, NOT a pine sided chest.

The walnut and banded top are stunning, as is the front, plainer walnut to the sides.

The chest has had replacement handles at some point in its life, but certainly not recently.

Interestingly, the cockbeading you would usually expect to find around the drawers, this is fitted to the drawer recess which is something you don't see too often.
