French Directoire Commode in Mahogany

19th century
Description

Very nice quality, mid size French early C19th Directoire style commode with three full width drawers and original deep grey marble top.

Good decorative piece with fantastic mahogany grain running throughout the drawer fronts, original brass handles, three locks to the drawers but I don't have a key...I will see if I can locate one!

The top drawer, although looks to be three individual drawers, is one full width drawer.

Fluted, rounded column corners and standing on lovely turned legs.

Measuring:

33 1/2'' or 85cm high

42 1/2'' or 108cm wide

19'' or 48cm deep

Delivery to most England, Wales and Scotland addresses at £55, but please send me your postcode if you are a bit remote or coastal as it could be more...or you are very welcome to collect from me in Uppingham, Rutland

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
