French Oak Side Console Table

1900 - 1920
Description

Very decorative French oak side console table or bookshelf, circa 1920

Great piece of furniture, lovely oak grain to the main top with a 3/4 gallery back, shaped front edge, carved niche to either end and standing on very elegant shaped cabriole legs.

Most likely a northern French piece, good condition and has cleaned and waxed up really well.

Measuring:

29'' or 74cm high

32 3/4'' or 83cm wide

12'' or 30cm deep

The height in the shelf area is 9 1/2'' or 24cm

Delivery is no problem to arrange for you, usually £55 but please send me your postcode if you are remote or coastal as it can be more...or you are very welcome to come and see this and collect from me in Uppingham, Rutland

Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
