Striking Victorian Figured Flamed Mahogany Antique Scottish Chest Of Drawers

This striking set of antique Scottish antique drawers circa, 1850 are full of beautiful charm and character and provide an adequate amount of storage. With a rectangular top above a concealed frieze drawer and two over three graduating beautifully figured flamed mahogany drawers with turned handles. The sides have quality turned columns and they stand on an inverted moulded plinth with chunky squat turned bun feet. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
