Fine Quality Regency Rosewood Antique Chiffonier

Dating from around 1830, this fine quality antique chiffonier has two tiers with elegant shaped turnings and decorative brass gallery. This sits above a beautifully figured top with oak lined frieze drawer and two cupboard doors with silk lining, decorative ormolu mounts and key with working lock. The interior comprises of two shelves and this wonderful piece stands on a plain plinth and is full of beautiful charm and character. The rosewood has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
