Striking Victorian Inlaid Mahogany Bow Fronted Antique Sideboard

Of spectacular quality and dating from around 1900, this splendid antique has a brass gallery rail above a beautifully figured bow fronted top with wonderful satinwood crossbanding. Beneath is a central oak lined drawer with stunning lion head brass handles above a concealed door with striking shell inlay. The left hand side comprises of a cupboard door and the right hand side comprises of a drawer again with striking lion head brass handles and stunning satin wood crossbanding. This splendid sideboard stands on six tapering legs with spade feet and is full of beautiful charm and character. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
