Spectacular Early Victorian Figured Oak Antique Chest Of Drawers

This Spectacular Chest Of Drawers Date from Around 1850 In the Victorian Period, they have an inverted breakfront top above a striking pollard oak figured frieze. The sides have stunning decorative carved corbels and two over three graduating drawers with beautifully turned handles. As well as having beautiful charm and character this super chest would provide an adequate amount of storage, the piece as a whole stands on elegant turned bun feet.

The oak has aged to a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Approximate Dimensions are:

Height:128cm / 50.5 inches

Width:122cm / 48 inches

Depth:55cm / 21.5 inches
