French Marble Top Marquetry Chest of Drawers

Description

Good decorative French louis xv style marquetry "bombe" chest of drawers with original marble top, original gilt ormolu mounts and handles, circa 1920

Very good condition throughout and well made with additional brass running down the fronts of the legs too

Two good size drawers with plenty of storage space, they are both paper lined

Great colour and tone

Measuring:

34 1/4'' / 87cm high

46'' / 117cm wide

18 1/2'' / 47cm deep

Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
