C19th Mahogany Chest of Drawers with Prince of Wales Feathers

Good quality and very neat size c19th mahogany 2 over 2 chest of drawers with Prince of Wales feathers and inlay

Useful little chest of drawers, being slightly narrower than the average, but with good size drawers for storage. The drawers are all finished with beaded edging, mother of pearl escutcheons and original handles and are dovetailed...the bottom two drawer locks I do have a working key for too

Lovely patina from age and use, there are marks throughout the chest, but nothing major and nothing you wouldn't expect. The condition is good and solid

It would sit well as a decorative chest for display too, due to the smaller size

32 3/4'' / 83cm high

36 3/4'' / 93cm wide

18'' / 45.5cm deep

Can be collected from me here in Uppingham, Rutland...or i can easily arrange delivery for around £65 to most England, Scotland and Wales addresses, but please send me your postcode to confirm

Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
