Coffer Chest Oak Eccles Hall Norfolk C1710

Description

Here we have a wonderful rare Queen Anne Oak coffer c1710. As you can see the chest has stunning colour and patina. The chest from Eccles Hall Norfolk has a three plank top with thumb moulded edge. The from has stunning applied geometric mouldings again with lovely rich colour and patina. There are stile legs with carved reeded decoration which is replicated centrally. There is a top frieze with carved decoration and applied moulded ball decor. The sides are panelled as is the back and the chest is of course constructed using pegged mortice and tenon joints. A super chest with great provenance ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 42 inches wide 21 deep and 26 high.
