With a rectangular moulded top above four graduating cock beaded drawers with oval decorative handles and is equipped with brass carrying handles on the sides. The top interior comprises of divides, sliding leather writing insert, small secret drawer and inkwell and pen insert. This fantastic campaign chest stands on shaped bracket feet and the mahogany has aged to a medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
