Description:
With narrow proportions (4ft 8” wide), the dresser incorporates a moulded oak top, with three working drawers above a straight frieze. The drawer fronts are decorated with fine moulded edges and feature old replacement brass swan neck handles and escutcheons. The drawers incorporate pine linings, constructed with hand dovetail joints. The central and right hand drawers retain their original locks, with a working key. The left hand drawer displays a dummy lock. The base is raised on four-baluster ring turned supports, decorated with classic Regency fan-shaped spandrels, united by a pot-board base below, where the planks run front to back.

Condition Report:
The dresser is in good condition, which is commensurate with its age. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, including inside of drawers, but nothing significant considering the age of them. The drawer fronts feature old replacement Regency brass swan neck handles and escutcheons. The drawers retain their original hand dovetailed linings. The central and right hand drawers retain their original locks, which are in good working condition and come with a key. The left hand drawer features a dummy lock. The dresser is raised on its original legs and pot-board. The dresser has been cleaned and wax polished in our workshops. The dresser boasts a fantastic rich oak colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. The dresser is well constructed, solid in joint with no loose movements and is ready to be used.
