18th Century Serpentine Sheraton Period Mahogany Sideboard

Description

A good example of a sideboard made in the Sheraton period 1780-1790.

This sideboard has the somewhat unusual feature of a small cupboard at one end which was intended for a chamber pot...!instead of leaving the dining room.

The drawers and cupboards all run smoothly .

The inlay is excellent with plaques of satinwood Prince of Wales feathers and fan shapes.
