Description

Small solid Mahogany chest of drawer’s oak lined and in excellent condition.

Georgian 1800s commode converted in the 1920s to a chest of drawers as built in toilets became the norm.

After both 1st world war and 2nd world war raw materials where in short supply commodes became redundant many where converted into chest of drawers and given a new lease of life as well as being a fraction of the price of an original period chest of drawers of this small size.
