This is an unusually small burr walnut sideboard/credenza manufactured shortly after the first world war. The baroque styled undercarriage is of 4 cabriole shaped legs, with carved acanthus to the shoulder and terminating on a scrolled feet. All interconnected with curved stretchers. The upper section is of a serpentine shaped front with a pair of central cupboard doors, below which is a deeply carved apron. The top is of beautifully figured burr walnut, crossband to all outer edges and panel to the centre.
