Description

A very decorative and original MAPLES & CO. cream painted and gilded tall chest having 2 short over 4 long graduated drawers, each with gilded mouldings and turned and carved pulls. The top frieze having applied and gilded carved scrolling foliage, the reeded stiles are capped top and bottom with gilded patrae. The panelled sides again with gilded mouldings and the whole stands on turned gilded and reeded legs. In good original condition with working locks and keys. This chest matches the following tallboy cupboard.

Sizes - Height 51.75'' /131.5cm. Width 31'' / 79cm. Depth 19'' / 48cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
