A Superb William IV Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

Description

A superb William IV bow fronted chest of two short drawers over two long cockbeaded drawers. The unusual small proportions of this antique chest are enhanced by many charming features including beaded and gadrooned pilasters, crossbanding and ebony stringing to the top and the original rose motif brass handles. The chest which is raised on short turned front legs, has wonderful richly grained and patinated mahogany. The deep drawers run well and the stability and condition of the chest are excellent. A very appealing and decorative small chest of drawers to place in any interior.
