Dating From Around 1890, This Tall Victorian Crossbanded Antique Mahogany Chest Of Drawers have a beautifully figured top with dental moulded edge above two over five graduating cross banded drawers with oval brass handles. This lovely chest of drawers have been adapted to this unique tall slim size and provide an adequate amount of storage, It has the usual shrinkage marks to the sides but this does not detract from its overall beauty it just adds to the charm of this antique piece. These splendid drawers stand on splayed bracket feet and the mahogany has aged to a medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
