Burr Walnut Bombe and Shaped Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

Circa 1860, Dutch burr walnut bombe and shaped front chest of drawers. With a quarter-veneered top and a scalloped moulded edge, the chest has 3 long graduated drawers. These have their original cast brass handles and escutcheons. Beneath these is a cushion apron, and the whole piece stands on shaped bracket feet. It has been traditionally restored with a lovely mellow colour.
