Rare Small Georgian Mahogany Antique Caddy Chest

Of Beautiful Small Proportions and Less Than Three Feet Wide, This Unique Caddy Chest Dates from around 1770 in the Georgian era. This exquisite piece has a beautifully figured top with a cross banded front edge above a pull out brushing slide and four graduating moulded drawers with decorative brass handles and stands on shaped bracket feet. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
