Carse Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
Unusual five drawer configuration, the drawers with moulded edges, original iron locks and original wooden knobs. The drawers are all pine lined. Below the drawers the profusely shaped aprons are a really nice touch. Turned uprights to the front with chamfered square legs to the rear with pot board which has a moulded edge.

The top section with original spice drawers along the back with scratch cock beaded edge, brass knobs and pine lined. Original shoes with nicely moulded tops. The top section of the spice drawers with moulded and grooved part for holding plates etc. The dresser would originally have had a plate rack which has been missing for quite some time judging by the patination around the moulded piece that has been put in the mortise.
The dresser is a great small size, great design and lovely colour, what more could you want ?
