17th Century Period Oak Antique Chest Of Drawers

This Early Period Oak Chest Of Drawers date from around 1700 and have a wonderful country feel. This is a genuine piece of antique furniture which may have minor marks and old repairs, as one would expect and consistent with age, adding to its character and authenticity. This super chest has a rectangular moulded top above two over three graduating drawers with oval brass decorative handles and they have raised moulded drawer fronts and raised fielded paneled sides and the original oak back boards. The oak has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Height: 100cm / 39.5 inches

Width: 99cm / 39 inches

Depth: 56cm / 22 inches
