Late 19th Century Flame Mahogany Chest

Description

Fine quality late 19th century flame mahogany bow-front chest of drawers. Two over three drawer configuration. The drawers with satinwood inlay and beautiful original brass plate handles. The chest with matching satinwood inlays to the front sides with plinth base. The top in quarter veneered with mirror image flame mahogany.

The drawers are all mahogany lined inside completely and have their original brass locks which are all marked Hobson & Co. London.

Although late 19th century this chest is of the best of quality and was obviously made by one of the top London cabinet making firms of the time.
