Victorian Tea Caddy In The Form Of A Miniature Sideboard

A unusual Victorian period novelty tea caddy made as a miniature sideboard. The tea caddy copies exactly the sideboards of the day with the two pedestal bases making up the caddy tea compartments and the central section being the space for the caddy spoon. The caddy is beautifully made in flame mahogany with an oak top. The interior is all original with it''s red lining paper. The whole has a lovely untouched patina and colour, it has had some minor old repairs with a patch of veneer added on the back. C.1850
