Description

A fine quality, very small Georgian chest of drawers in mahogany. This beautifully converted commode chest, dating from c.1790s, has an arrangement of cockbeaded graduated drawers with solid oak drawer linings and original brass swan-neck handles. It sits on handsome bracket feet, and the backing boards are original. It has well-figured timbers with a good rich colour and is English, late 18th century.
