The 2 drawer 'sans traverse' front inlaid with a burr walnut and marquetry inlaid oval panel of flower bouquet and ribbon. The shaped parquetry panel reserves with inlaid chequer banding . Fitted with brass ribbon-tied circular ring handles, decorative escutcheon plate and sun-mask mount .

The canted corners with cast gilt-metal neo-classical 'rams-head' mounts , inlaid satinwood reserves and raised on shaped front supports with sabot-mounted feet. The sides with conforming parquetry panels with chequer banding.
Has a key and working lock.
Fitted with the original 'Verde Mare' ("Sea-green") shaped stepped-corner marble top .
