Lovely Victorian mahogany chest of drawers unusual to be serpentine fronted. Standing on large, tuned legs, the front with attractive fluting rising up to corner octagonal pilasters with turned capitals. The base apron is nicely fretted above which are 3 long and 2 short drawers all with strongly figured mahogany veneers bookmatched in the centre. This chest has obviously been well used for over 100 years and has recently been re-polished to make good for the next century.
