Chest of Drawers Arts and Crafts Victorian Oak C1880

Here we have a wonderful Victorian period Arts and Crafts Oak chest of drawers c1880. As you can see the chest has super colour and patina. This chest once owned by an employee of Liberty and co has super original plated handles and hinges. The handles and hinges are handworked having a hammered planished finish. The top has super grain and the whole chest is made from carefully selected timbers which are quarter sawn to show the lovely medullary rays. The drawers as you would expect have handcut dovetail joints and are Ash lined a favoured wood of the Arts and Crafts period. The original locks are in place and are stamped with V crown R for the Victorian period. A super chest in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 44 inches wide 47 high and 21 deep.
