This is a lovely chest, that is full of age, charm and character.
No loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely (some marks inside as is to be expected).
Good shape and fantastic proportions. Charming historic waviness and distortion.
It is possible that the walnut veneer was added in the 19th Century to a Georgian oak chest.
Rare, with a great colour, crossbanded drawer fronts and top....has the wow factor.

There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested. Later handles, locks and escutcheons.
