A rare Georgian Mahogany Bowfront Chest of Drawers with an unusual drawer configuration of 5 short and 3 long drawers, all retaining the original brass swan neck handles and escutcheons. The chest having satinwood rails and box inlay to the drawer fronts giving a striking appearance. This large country house chest is raised on shaped bracket feet. Exceptional quality and proportion with good colour and patina throughout. circa 1780
