19th Century Anglo Indian Padouk Chest of Drawers

A late 19th century Anglo Indian decorative four drawer padouk chest of drawers in the military style.

This chest of drawers consists of a solid padouk top with a gadrooned edge.

This leads down to the drawers, the configuraton being two short over two long. Each of the drawers are teak lined and have a sunburst design to the drawer fronts with central military style brass handles and diamond shaped escutcheons.

This leads down to a gadrooned moulding at the bottom and is supported by four carved feet that are reeded & tapered.

The back of the chest is also teak, it is in very good condition for age and can go straight into a home.
