This Sensational Queen Anne Figured Walnut Antique Chest on Stand dates from around 1710 and has a moulded top with cross banded edge. This sits above three smaller over three larger moulded drawers with striking feather banded edge and decorative brass handles. This spectacular antique has canted corners with eye catching blind fretwork carved edge. The lower associated base has a deep moulded edge above three moulded drawers again with decorative brass handles. Standing on a shaped apron with beautiful upright supports with a stepped lower frame and turned bun feet this amazing piece would look truly stunning in most homes and also splits into two sections for easy removal. Having beautiful charm and character and the most amazing golden shade of walnut this wonderful chest has a striking grain, good patina and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
