ANTIQUE #SA372475

Late 17th Century Walnut Chest On Stand

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: James Reeve (Quinneys of Warwick)

This is a super looking piece. The drawers are edged in chevron herringbone veneers, the piece is a lovely warm walnut colour. The top is very early 18th century and the base, s constructed in exactly the same way out of period timbers and veneers. It is only on very close inspection that you can tell it is later. The handles of the top are original and those on the base are an exact replica.

This piece really needs to be seen.
