This very elegant bed is in the Louis XV style, having wonderful Rococo designs.
With a very pretty carved shell cresting to the headboard.
Lovely shaped and carved side-rails.
Standing on very elegant shell and scroll carved feet.
The mahogany has developed a warm rich, red mahogany colour, and excellent patina.
With custom made solid pine bed slats.
Ready for immediate use, requires a UK standard double 4ft 6" mattress.
Very easy to assemble.
Completely dismantles into a headboard a footboard, two side-rails, the pine slats stack.
The bed will be dismantled ready for collection.
The overall condition is very good, with general, expected but minor signs of age and use, commensurate with age.
