Early 19th Century Georgian Mahogany Bow-front Chest of Drawers

Description

An excellent quality Late George III bow front chest of drawers.

Early 19th century c1810.

This very elegant chest has a super super colour, and lovely figuring to the mahogany, with a rich warm golden, chestnut colour and glowing patination

Having two short over three long graduating, cock-beaded drawers, each having the original turned handles. All original locks and escutcheons. The drawers are oak lined.

Standing on splayed feet.

In very good antique condition, with some historical repairs, filled shrinkage mark to the top towards the back. Plus a filled shrinkage mark to the left side. All shown in the pictures. Minor expected knocks and bumps.

Very solid sturdy and strong.
