Description

A fine quality mid 19th century Oak Wellington Chest of good proportions by Gillows. This beautiful example having an arrangement of 6 graduated drawers flanked by 2 locking bars, one dummy. The top drawer being a stationary drawer with drop down front enclosing a selection of pigeon holes. Retaining the original lock and ebony handles, the whole raised on a plinth base. Superb condition throughout.

Dimensions: Height: 46 1/2 Inches (117.5cm), Width: 24 Inches (61cm), Depth: 15 3/4 Inches (40cm)
