Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1860s.
In very good, solid and original condition throughout, with six drawers along the top, all having brass swan neck handles, oval brass keyhole covers and all the pine lined and dovetailed drawers run smoothly. Beneath the drawers are six pine cupboard doors, all close neatly and have period brass knob handles. In side, behind the cupboard doors is a large, clean open storage space, perfect for those large pieces of kitchen equipment. The top is thick pine, scrubbed clean with a small gallery upstand framing the top. All in natural, scrubeed pine, a superb piece for a large kitchen, a good work height, rare to find quite this big. English and dates from around 1860-70.
