Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The rectangular moulded top has a wonderful crossbanded edge and beautifully figured mirrored top. This super chest of drawers have four graduating oak lined drawers with the original brass handles, cross banded edges and cock beading. Due to the lovely proportions of this chest it can be placed almost anywhere and stands on shaped bracket feet. The walnut has aged to a rich golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
