George III Military Style Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Description

Good 18th century George III military style mahogany chest of drawers. Two over three drawer configuration. The drawers with cock beaded edge and very nice original sunk in brass handles. The drawers are lined in oak with pine bottoms and original brass locks.

The chest has the original turned feet with casters to the front and plain bracket feet to the rear. It is a wonderful rich, dark colour with good patination from years of waxing.

SIZE; 40" wide by 19 1/2" front to back by 38" high
