Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1850s.
They have a rectangular moulded top above two over three graduating part mahogany lined drawers with cock beaded edge and beautifully turned handles. These marvellous drawers stand on a plain plinth and small squat turned bun feet. The mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
