Spectacular Serpentine Shaped Antique Victorian Sideboard

Dating from around 1870 in the Victorian period this Spectacular sideboard can only be the work of a true Victorian craftsman to accomplish such an unusual shape with fabulous carvings. With a deep moulded serpentine shaped top above a serpentine mahogany lined beautifully figured drawer. This sits above two cupboard doors with stunning carvings and spectacular figured central panels and the interior comprises of one fixed shelf. The sides are bow fronted with cupboard doors with key with working locks, again beautifully figured panels and carvings, each interior comprises of two bow fronted removable shelves. The front has stunning carved columns and stands on a shaped moulded plinth. The mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
