Scottish George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Description

Circa 1770, Scottish George III mahogany chest of drawers, the solid mahogany top with an ogee moulded edge above two short over 3 long graduating drawers. The drawers have a string inlay on the solid mahogany fronts, oak liners and swan neck handles. The handles appear to be original. Beneath the bottom drawer is another ogee moulding and the whole piece stands on slightly raised chunky bracket feet. Great colour and patination.

Size 101cm high x 109cm wide x 57cm deep.
