Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The superb top is solid mahoagny which is in very good, clean condition.
The front, customer side, has fixed panels with two opening doors and is decorated with four carved corbels. In a lovely old green paint finish and panelled on one end.
On the opposite side are four opening cupboard doors and one sliding door. Inside are various storage methods, these could be removed.
In very good solid condition. A good large size, tall so no one could get over the counter in the police station, perfect height for a bar/serving counter.
