This is a lovely chest, that is full of age, charm and character...far better than most.
Large, solid, strong and heavy.
No loose joints and drawers slide freely (clean insides, must have always been lined).
Rare, with a great colour and best patina....has the wow factor, with a great crossbanded top.
Overall maximum dimensions: 118cm wide, 59cm deep, 123cm high.
There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested. There are a few historic extinct woodworm holes (expected for period furniture), that we have treated for good measure.
As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
