Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
In solid oak which is a lovely, rich, original and even colour.
The oak top has a moulded edge, with the front corners of the dresser base being rounded.
To the centre of the base are three drawers, all with the period brass ware handles. Flanking the drawers are two cupboard doors, both having raised and fielded panels. The drawers and doors are cross banded in mahogany.
This Georgian antique dresser base is in very good condition, the model is typical of a Westmoreland piece of Georgian furniture.
